Last week, Air India Express received its first line-fit Boeing 737-8 MAX aircraft, marking a major milestone after the airline’s acquisition by the Tata Group in 2022.
The aircraft, registered as VT-RNT, features a special commemorative livery in memory of Ratan Tata, the former Chairman Emeritus of the Tata Group. According to flight-tracking platform data, this aircraft is the first of its kind built exclusively for Air India Express under Tata ownership.
